RAZOR PAGE. How to Hide a button for some rows based on a bool data column and call the button for an action in the code page

Visual Studio 2019 ASP NET RAZOR PAGES C#. my Index.cshtml page has a button below (built for ClientFormat). var approvelinkFormat = "<a class='btn btn-outline btn-success btn-sm' href='" + Url.Page("","ApproveRow",new {id=".(PubInfoId)" }) + "' ><i class='" + "fa fa-thumbs-o-up" + "' ></i></a>"; 1) I want to Hide the button for some rows based on a boolean data column value. 2) Please look at the button call which is: `Url.Page("" , "ApproveRow",new { id = ".(PubInfoId)" })` I want to call the Page Code (Index.cshtml.cs) passing the Id of the active row public IActionResult OnPostApproveRow(int id) { // EXECUTE A CALL TO THE DATABASE HERE }

  have a look at this demo: https://demo.aspnetawesome.com/GridDemo/CustomFormat 1) to sometimes show a button in the grid cell depending on a row model property value you can use `ClientFormatFunc`, in the demo above you can see the Price gets a different color depending on its value, in your case the js function could return an empty string or the html for the button 2) (a bit similar to the "open" links in the demo mentioned above) I see your action is `OnPostApproveRow`, clicking on `a` link in html will do a `get` request, you need a `post`, to generate a `post` request you need an html `form` with type post, or you could use jquery `$.post`
