Cancel button for inline edit disappeared after 5.3 upgrade, when having a hidden column

I have table with inline edit, which successfully worked in previous awesomegrid version. But after upgrade, "Cancel" button, which should be visible after clicking "Edit", disappeared. <td> for this button is completely empty. Before entering edit mode, this cell contains valid controls: visible "delete" button and hidden "cancel" button. Do you have any ideas how it could happened? I could debug it by myself, but code in awe().Edit() is obfuscated.

• check with the demo here: http://demo.aspnetawesome.com/GridInlineEditDemo, make sure you're using `Html.InlineDeleteFormatForGrid(gridId)` for the delete button `ClientFormat` (there's no awe().Edit() helper)

• No errors in console. Isolated example. Problem is located: "Cancel" button is not shown, if any column contain Hidden property: new Column { Bind = "Id", Hidden = true }.Mod(o => o.InlineId()), Perhaps, such property doesn't work correctly. COuld you please advise me, how to keep hidden columns and cancel button?

  in `awem.js` find the line: if (inlelms) { var cell = $row.children().eq(tdi).empty(); //remove this line and below instead of: addHidden(cell.append(cellcont)); call: addHidden($row.children().eq(tdi).empty().append(cellcont));

  • Didn't helped. I also tried it on your demo project with specified changes in awem.js, added hidden field to first column. Issue reproduced!

  • try downloading the awem.js from here: https://files.fm/u/rjwqqnmm we tested by setting `Column { Hidden = true` and using the `.ColumnsSelector()` grid mod
