How can enable/disable feature of Gird for view/edit Mode ?

Now I build grid have feature below 1. MovableRows() 2. Selectable(SelectionType.Single) 3. Have column contain edit button for inline CRUD I'd create toggle button for swap mode of grid View mode (Default mode) 1. Disable 2. Enable 3. Hide Column Edit mode 1. Enable 2. Disable 3. Show Column pls suggest me

• In demo http://demo.aspnetawesome.com/GridDemo have to connect server side and reload Grid again But I'd not reload Grid , I 'd code pass client code such as JS . Is there way ?

• you can hide the edit button, but for adding mods and changing selection type you can't atm

  for movable rows you could do it if you modify the awem.js like this: function gridMovRows(opt) { ... $grid.addClass('awe-mvr'); dragAndDrop({ ... sel: '.awe-row:not(.ginlrow)', ... cancel: function (isTouch, coords) { if (!$grid.hasClass('awe-mvr')) return true; to disable movable rows you'll have to call `$('#gridid').removeClass('awe-mvr')` and to enable it back call `addClass`

  • how to disable movable rows when the row is in edit mode ? and also I can't select text on textbox at inline-crud for Grid have moveRow Mod.

  I've edited my answer to disable reordering of rows when in edit mode. this will also solve the select text in textbox
