the closest thing we have right now is [http://demo.aspnetawesome.com/DragAndDropDemo#Grid-reorder-rows MovableRows] mod for the grid, and you could use it on a treegrid but it will only move 1 row, without the subtree, and after the drop you could do the necessary changes on the server and call `api.update` on the parent row (if there is one)
