Can't fire 'change' event on hidden field on the Awe().Odropdown in project with WrapBootstrap

Hello, I took example from 'MvcProjectAwesome' where I'm able go to 'change' `$('#chTheme').change(...)` event and event is fired correctly after selection new theme. I implemented 'Theme' dropdown into our project which was built using WrapBootstrap template and a registered javascript 'change' event doesn't work (was never fired). In our solution where we added omu.awesome radiodropdown and we used same construction as in example and everything look fine. Do you have any ideas why it should be different behaviour on different solutions. is there any settings MVC, or solution which can cause this issue. I can prepare sample of implemented code if necessary. We are expecting to use lot controls on pages and if there will be problems with registering 'change' events on hidden fields it can cause issues to use these components.

  you can try on https://demo.aspnetawesome.com to execute in the console: $('#AllMeals').on('change', function() { console.log('change', $(this).val()); }); after this if you select a different item in the odropdown (first one), you'll see the message in the console. if it doesn't work in your solution, probably something is stopping the propagation of the event, or maybe there's some js error, you can try to isolate the problem by removing every other dependency until it works, and after add them back

  • Thanks - problem was with loading jquery twice and second jquery lib has been an old version which could cause issue
