Help with left nav menu

I'm working to create a nav menu as you have in the main demo using the same Menu.cshtlm page as yours but with my own controller and action names. When I run it, @Url.Action in the Menu page is never run, and therefore not items show up in the menu div (but it's there). The debugger does run through Menu.cshtml but for some reason never creates the grid with the menu items.

our latest demo uses storg.js, and it will run the url only the first time and save it to sessionStorage, try private browsing
