you can set start and end date on different days

Actually what I would like to do is assign the same event to non-consecutive days. For example 10/14, 10/21 and 10/28. Clearly with a single creation operation.

you will have to modify the create form for that (Create.cshtml), to allow the user to enter multiple dates, and after you'll have to handle all these dates in the Create post action (SchedulerDemoController.Create)
