Clearing the child multi look up selected items on the change of parent look up data selection. Child look up should be auto refereshed

Dear team, We have a requirement like, we will be having two multi look up i.e. one is Branch list and another one is employee list. The branch list look-up will be the parent item and the employee list should be loaded based on the branch selection. The employee list here is the child item. So, after selecting the branch names, when we click on the employee list multi look up, those employee names will be shown there in the list belonging to the selected branch. We can do this easily using .Parent property. Here are the additional requirements, suppose we have a few employees' items already selected in the employee multi look up and if the user changes the branch list lookup, then the employee list look-up should get auto reset, so all previously default selected employee list items should be removed automatically on branch selection changes. In simple terms, on the change of the parent look-up data, default selected items in the child look up will be cleared, and the user will select the child items again manually because certain branches will load certain employees. Do you have any default features like refreshing the child multi-look-up selected item list on parent data change? Please assist us asap.

  • For multi-look up, we need to clear the child-selected items with the Ok button click. Is this change event? or different event? Usually we use change event for the drop down.
