how can I get values from the dropdownlist, grid and autocomplete to be used in controller to search, create, delete?.

exactly the same as you would use the standard textbox for search and CRUD, to use the editors (Dropdown, Lookup etc) for CRUD you just put them inside a form that you post to the server, in our demos they are inside a form in a partial view that is loaded using the PopupForm helper see this demo: http://demo.aspnetawesome.com/GridCrudDemo (there's description at the bottom), it has CRUD and search with a textbox but instead of that textbox it could have been a dropdown as well so for search you can use the .Parent extension to bind the grid to one or multiple editors something like this: .Parent("dropdownCountry", "country") .Parent("txtName", "name") and in the grid controller you'll get additionally parameter "country and "name", plus the grid will reload when "dropdownCountry" or "txtName" will change, but if you don't want the Grid to reload on Parent change you can do .LoadOnParentChange(false) and put a search button instead which will call the api like this: <button type="button" onclick="$('#MyGrid').data('api').load();">Search</button>
