Mutiselect is not working if a name contains slash character (/)

I'm using AjaxCheckboxListFor to create multiselect but I notice that if one item contains slash character(/) then the item is not selectable. How can I fix that?

• you have the slash in the text or the value, I tried renaming in main demo Db.cs Rice to Ri/ce and I still can select it

• I have the slash in both The string is like: FR FLAT 56 KMH (ATFF5/AKKK50) does not work. The other one like FR FLAT 56 KMH is still selectable.

  thnx for noticing this problem, you could fix this yourself right now if you find and replace in AwesomeMvc.js this string /[&<"'\/]/g with this /[&<"']/g

  • For me, replacing from AwesomeMvc is not enough, I also need to replace it in awem.js. Thanks for your suppory

  negative :( change every script (AwesomeMvc and awem) like this (replace regex code) /[()&<"'\/]/g and add code (entityMap) function "(": "&#40;", ")": "&#41;", "/": "&#47;" and add code (escape) function for test consolo.log(entityMap[s]); function is working correctly but combo list to html result same :( expected "some (word)s" -> "some &#40;word&#41; s" result "some (word)s" -> "some (word)s"

  • you only need to open it with notepad and find (ctrl+F) /[&<"'\/]/g and replace it with /[&<"']/g
